This is a scarce model. It was released in 1969 and also ceased production in the same year when it was replaced by a Whizzwheels version. The normal boxed release was yellow with a black bonnet and tailgate but a few were made in this orange colour (and no black panels) for inclusion in a Gift Set with a Transporter and other models. People trying to re-create those sets seldom manage to do so because this is so difficult to find.
This example is all original and has clean windows and good suspension and nice wire wheels. The chrome is good front and back and the headlamp jewels are in place. It has some signs of wear but really still looks very fresh and clean.
The tailgate does not have the MGC decal. I will look for a replacement but until that arrives it is sold as it stands. It is also missing the black opening suitcase. However, I may have one available and can supply this at an additional cost. Please ask about this if required.
Overall this is one of the best I have seen for a long time, with very attractive chrome and a clean interior and windows.
